Since we just had a thread about who your favorite superhero was...
What superhero did you hate?

Hal Jordan and Barry Allen. More because their whiny fanboys never shut up. Allen's been dead for 20 years, get over it.

Batman- mainly because of the rabid fans that believe that in a battle between Batman and God, Batman would find SOME WAY to win.
Plus most people think he can beat Cap most fo the time and with ease, and that just ain't gonna happen.

I second the Superman vote, especially after the last movie. No wonder Lois dumped him!
Take care,

The current book is kind of annoying. Whoever the artist is must've lost a bet to see how many butt shots he can do of Lois in her underwear.

I don't really HATE any one superhero. The ones I don't like, I never read much, so I never got to hating one in particular.

My current can't stand is Luke Cage, mainly because I'm sick of the guy who killed off Hawkeye and The Vision shoving this D-Lister down my throat. Oh, speaking of Hawkeye and The Vision, the whole "Young Avengers" line up makes the list. Mr. Fantastic. The guy's been around for 50 years, I think someone would have given him a likeable personality trait in that time. Invisible Woman should have dumped this loser for Namor a long time ago. Over at DC, The New Gods. Can't stand 'em. Also, any Green Lantern who's not Guy Gardner.

Thanos...Yes, he's my favorite, but I also hate the fact that only Jim Starlin can write him...Everyone else tries to retcon his reformation, even though he makes a very cool "good guy"...I hate seeing him in a comic that wasn't done by Starlin, or someone close to him...
Thanos is currently involved in a She-Hulk comic, wherein he denies everything that happened in his own comic....Lame...

I used to like Luke Cage just fine. I enjoyed Heroes for Hire with him and Iron Fist. But he’s become the flag ship character for Ben "Vision-Killer" Bendis’ corner of the Marvel universe, and since I hate what Bendis has done with the Avengers, Cage has become the recipient of my wrath. . . Him and Spider-Woman.

I dislike Cage because he replaced the Hulk in Ultimate Alliance...

I actually never cared for Cage until Bendis got him into New Avengers. He seems like a more three dimensional character.

This is too easy. While I agree that Superman has become an uber-meta-mega-hero . . . .
I hate Spiderman and Wolverine. They aren't characters anymore; they're marketing tools spread throughout the Marvel universe to boost other characters and titles. I love the Marvel U because characters like Dr. Doom, Captain America and others appear in enough corners of (the Marvel universe) to suggest continuity and relevence, but Logan and Parker have given new meaning to ubiquitous.
So . . . you guys are saying Batman CAN'T beat God . . . . ? Just kidding.
