Maybe they'll draft one of the Briscoes. They're the best at everything I've heard. That would be friggin awesome. I can see Knapik in his Bears Briscoe jersey now. Dude.

Ahhh...but what has made it a balanced attack? Moss being in the lineup, whether he is catching balls or not, draws attention. That attention means less attention for the other WR/TE/RBs. Graymar Absolutely true. But those guys have to make the plays.. the cast of characters from last year's Patriots (like Rashe Caldwell and Doug Gabriel... both out of the League now) couldn't have done so. I'm not saying Moss isn't awesome, because obviously he is, I'm just saying I'd pick Brady over him, if I had to. I think without Moss a receiving core of Welker, Stallworth, Gafney, and Brown isn't bad... then they still have their 1st picks of the last two years... Jackson and Washington) who COULD be good, but just never get in the game other than special teams. They wouldn't be 13-0, but they'd still be very, very good.

Graymar That term doesn't even make sense, since Randy isn't seen as much of a locker room leader and the team has very little of his personality. Moss is a cog in the offense. Brady is the motor. I was going to say a bunch of great stuff, but Wildfire covered most of it. But there is this to add... if you think Brady ISN'T the MVP, then how about this: In Randy's five worst statistical games (Browns, Cowboys, Skins, Eagles, Ravens) Tom Brady went a combined 134 of 211 (.635 completion percentage) for 1496 yards and threw for 14 TDs against 1 INT, and oh by the way led the team to two 4th quarter comebacks. Brady is without question the league MVP.

Brady is without question the league MVP. This should be blatantly apparent to anyone without an obvious bias.

Moss is the Most Valuable Player on the team, but the MVP award is given to the Most Outstanding Player not the Most Valuable Player, which is Tom Brady, who will win the NFL MVP.

PH, I agree with you...Brady should be the MVP...what I said was that the presence of Moss ON THE FIELD changes the defensive schemes and opens up things for other receivers EVEN IF HE NEVER CATCHES A PASS. My vote absolutely goes to Brady. Graymar

Projecting forward...Brady, Moss, Belichick, and Seau are locked in.. Vrabel, Brushci, Seymour, Harrison all have better than average chances. ...Bob Kraft will get in ..guys like Samuel and Wilfork will be long-shots ..and eventually guys like Lawyer Milloy, Ty Law, and Vinatieri will get in as part of this "Patriots Dynasty."
Wanted to discuss this a bit more.. I am a huge pats fan but to me I think 10 HOF'ers on this team might be a bit too generous... Here's my assement
Locks..... Brady Belichick Seau
Better then average chance.... Vinatieri..the route to Canton is tough for any kicker. Moss... as long as he doesn't go back to Oakland levels should get in. There are guys with more career catches and TDs then him not in but none of them dominated like Moss Kraft... Law...I don't think his peak was nearly long enough.. He was the best CB in the game for atleast 1 or 2 years and a bit below pro bowl level the rest of it.
To me everyone else is a better then average but not HOF material just yet. Tedy is a nice a player and prob. got jipped on a pro bowl or two but just a cut below. Everyone else on that list it's either too early or doesn't have enough on the resume.

Michigan QBs have done well in the NFL. Look at Todd Collins stepping in and throwing 2 TDs last week. Brian Griese could be the starter in Chicago. By the way....in a decision I'm cool with because the Packers play the Bears coming up, Orton has been named the starter.

On a side note, Orton is an Iowan I know that's not saying much, but just thought I'd throw it out there.

Thanks, Vegas. It may will be the snow we're supposed to get hold the score down... too bad, I was looking forward to see Brady throw 70 passes
