Yes, I think we can officially eliminate the Cardinals from playoff contention.
With that said, I hope they bother to show up, have some dignity for once, and paste the Cubs.

They've got a series left against both the Brewers and the Cubs, and while some serious winnage would be necessary for them to catch up, then could sweep both teams and be right back in it. They won't, because they suck, I just wanted to point out that it's not a lock yet. |

so now that the Cardinals have fired their general manager, Walt Jocketty, who was responsible for them not sucking for a number of years before this year, who will they hire next to help them suck even more?

I really thought that due to recent events this thread needed to be resurrected in order to bring back the peace and love this board once had in a common cause. That cause being that the Cardinals suck.
