BTW, I like my signature the way it is already, but Clubber Lang with David Ortiz's face photoshopped on to it is going to look great in yours come the end of this series.
Also, just a reminder... Colorado's own homeboy Todd Helton, really wanted to be a part of our team just a few short months ago. Todd's Toddlers wouldn't have such a great ring to it if Todd were playing for the Sox, I suppose...

Yeah, you're right about that. In that lineup you forgot Kaz Matsui (sp ), our number 2 hitter. Rockies will win, it's already been written. ;D

Yeah, you're right about that. In that lineup you forgot Kaz Matsui (sp ), our number 2 hitter. Rockies will win, it's already been written. ;D Matsui is all right, but if you're going to count him, then I am going to still have to say that Pedroia, Youkilis, Ortiz, Manny, Lowell, Drew is still better. Plus V-Tek and Lugo have hit well in the past also, and Ellsbury has a bright future ahead of him. Basically, I would give the advantage to the Sox in terms of hitting, starting pitching, and bullpen. The Rockies have the Sox' number in terms of fielding, but as far as the Rockies' greatest asset goes - their momentum - even with that I'm not so sure right now... We'll start finding out tonight (or tomorrow morning if you're living on the other side of the globe like myself).

I'm in a NL-only fantasy league, so I definately know the Rockies are a good team... I tried really hard pre-season to get Holliday (who has a good contract) but Bill Hall and Chad Tracy didn't do it (which in hind sight, is obvious, but pre-season I thought it was pretty even)
Anyway, I think IF the Rockies players can handle to national spotlight and the pressure of being in a World Series, it'll be a great series. I

How long have we been around compared to New York or Boston. This is our beginning. High salaries and big egos don't win championships. TEAMS DO......... No so, the Marlins bought a World Series title Seriously, thought, its kinda amazing that he NL has so much parity without a salary cap. I'm always thought it odd that was the case while the AL the Sox and Yankees pretty much are the top teams every year

And I'd like to mention that I too helped the Red Sox beat the Rockies tonight by wearing my lucky Red Sox batting jersey to work. Helped them come back and beat the Indians after all. Yay me! ;D

On a side note, how the heck does Kevin Youkilis get his head in a batting helmet? Was watching one of the post game interviews and the size of his cranium is scary!

I'm not a Sox fan, so I'm going to say this as objectively as possible: people need to appreciate this team because you are watching a team of historical significance.
Josh Beckett is one of the bext post-season pitchers since..Jack Morris? Orel Hersher? As a starter he's been more consistently dominant than even Schilling or Smoltz. In a way, his post-season performance overshadows his actual career ( he needs like 5 more dominant years before he even sniffs HOF consideration) but the guy is ridiculous.
Manny/Ortiz: Not only are these tow both likely to end up in the HOF. Not only are these two combined arguably the most dangerous set of teamamtes in modern postseason history. but they are both extremely fun to root for.
I have no idea why Boston management spends so much time trying to move Manny, but good lord would that be a mistake. Their natural career curve indicates they should both be at the top of thier game 5-6 more seasons.
You telling me that it's hard to believe they couldn't get 1-2 more WS titles wih Manny, Papi, Beckett, and the most angry closer in the game?
