Uh... right. Jesus left the Sox two years ago to play center field for the New York Yankees. We still got to the World Series this year without him, so I think I'm fine with that.

Never mind the fact that the Rockies took two of three from the Red Sox in June, and that they outscored the Red Sox 20-5, and that the series took place in Fenway Park, and that we had both Beckett and Schilling on the mound...
It was part of the annual June Swoon that every Sox team has gone through since the start of this century and the end of the last, and Curt was playing hurt while refusing to admit it!

NL MVP & THE ROOKIE OF THE YEAR, best Team Feilding pct. in the history of baseball. Todd's Toddlers my @$$. The Sox are the next victim in the ride to Destiny of the ROCKS.

Big deal. We've got the AL Cy Young and Rookie of the Year as well. We also had the best record in baseball while competing in the far superior American League, compiling six more wins than you in the regular season (and that's not taking into account that you had an extra game to get to your 90 wins).
Jeff Francis has nothing on Josh Beckett. His victory over Beckett on June 14 was forever and a half ago, and it won't happen again.

If the Rockies had home field advantage..I may give them a slight edge due to their "home field advantage"...
But going with the Red Sox...barely.
Sorry Kevin, I'll at least cheer for the Rockies! ;D

I'm not sure yet, but I'm thinking about taking the Red Sox in the World Series. But last year I bet on the Tigers over the Cardinals and lost.

We'll see Han's sidekick. We'll see. As it stands now Rockies 2-1 over the smelly Sox Francis 1-0, Beckett 0-1. I don't care how long ago it was, it was this year and in Fenway.

How long have we been around compared to New York or Boston. This is our beginning. High salaries and big egos don't win championships. TEAMS DO.........

Glad you like it, you're a cool dude Chewy. I think it's gonna be a great series, because both teams seem on a Destiny ride. I also think a lot of people are going to wake up to how good the Rockies really are, because they're not nationaly exposed like a Boston or New York. It's a pretty good ball club here. That Shrek pic's gonna look real good in your sig Chewy. ;D

Butcher, I think that any team that boasts a lineup that includes Matt Holliday, Todd Helton, Garrett Adkins, Brad Hawpe, and Troy Tulowitski is definitely a force to be reckoned with. The Rockies are a really good team, and they would be a great feel-good story if they won the World Series... next year or the year after. Man, It's late Wednesday night where I am, and there's no World Series yet. Game 1 couldn't come soon enough.
