I don't know about you guys, But the last two times I have accessed the main page of the Filsinger Games Web Site I have been alerted to the presence of a Trojan.
Anybody else aware of this?

I'm not sure about a Trojan, but there's a Spartan lurking around the COTG universe now, thanks to PM2. Might be part of the problem. Sorry. I'll shut up

Thad Killian told me that today. We'll look into this.
Dave, what page(s) are you seeing this on?
Thanks.

Yesterday the homepage wouldn't load for me. I got a message about some kind of an attack on my computer that was blocked.

Tom's talked to the ISP and they are on the problem, and hopefully it will be fixed soon.

My security program has cleaned three trojans and all began Filsingergames. I blame josharpie.

I wasn't gonna say anything, but it happened to me, too. Was it a RAC computer or one with actual virus protection?

From what Mike M told me it appears to be attacking Internet Explorer 5. So if you are using Firefox you shouldn't have a problem. In any case I will let you all know when its resolved.

Well, the original version of the Trojan attacked IE 5, but this one appears to attack IE 6 &7 as well. (Since I have 2 boxes that it's tried to attack (and succeeded on the IE 6 box). Bottom line- make sure that you have up-to-date virus protection....

Hey guys. Never a dull moment! The server can't find anything wrong on their end so the latest theory for the virus warning is it's actually a script code that's being picked up by some browsers/antivirus programs as a virus. The good news is it may not be a virus at all. Let us know what antivirus program you are using by responding to this thread. That might be a factor for the code being picked up as a virus. And we're going to try to eliminate the offending script code in the meantime! If that made any sense it's a miracle since I am not a computer expert!

here is something that might help you track it down. I don't have virus software yet on this pc (I just use it for gaming and brief internet Browsing) so when I go on to the open page or homepage it gives me this message:
This website wants to run the following add-on: Microsoft Data Access-Remote Data Services Dat.... from Microsoft Corporation. If you trust the website and the addon and want to allow it ETC
Needless to say I didn't click on it. I am running XP, with IE 7.
