What do y'all think of splitting the fed forum.. seems like there are ALOT of threads goin' these days. FTZ's index thread definately helps, but I wonder if it would make sense to have two (GWF and non-GWFmaybe, or maybe just a separate one for aCe)
Opinions?

definitely...that way, if other promoters don't have that particular fed...they could check it out/ignore because of spoilers...

A good suggestion, and one we'll take under consideration. While we're discussing this, what are your opinions on how we should sort "independent" feds (using mixes of GWF, CPC, and/or aCe), both with and without bootlegs?
At the moment, the only hurdle I see would be moving all (or possibly just some) of the old threads into their new categories, which would leave a lot of debris.

I think, even if people use Bootlegs or mix things up, or whatever, most feds are ESSENTIALS one fed or the other (ie Swarm's fed is a GWF fed, even if he uses some of the other guys) I know what you mean about moving stuff about, but you could maybe just move the active ones? Or people could PM a mod is there's a question where it should go. Could be that's more trouble than its worth... As far as how to split things, I was thinking GWF and other, but just pulling out aCe would work too (not sure there's enough people that post CPC for that to make sense) |

As for the debris, I'm not sure how the boards work, but could you not do something like this: 1. Move the Fed to another thread. 2. PM the Promoter that his Fed's been moved 3. This would leave a "Thread moved to <here>" empty thread. 4. Wait a week so that everyone who frequents the thread knows it's been moved. 5. Delete all the vacated threads in the GWF Fed Forum. Again, I'm unsure of how feasible that is, never having personally run a ProBoard before...Just an idea... |

If we're going to split them, I'd say leave the GWF (all flavors, even EC) in its own forum and then add a second one for everything else - aCe, CPC, the mixed indies, etc.
