January 1st, 2119 – Centra Palladium
aCe Championship Tournament – Qualifying Pool A

In-Ring: A low murmur swept over the Centra Palladium, former home of the CWF. The show had filled up quickly, and rightfully so; the fate of Centra Prime rested on what would happen over the coming months in this arena. The people of Centra also grew tired of the war that raged across their dimension, and the escapism of wrestling was precisely what their war-ravaged collective psyche needed.

The low murmur became a roar as the familiar countenance of Aegis strode through the curtain. Behind him came a tall Ravager wearing a bubble-shaped helmet, a fit, good-looking young man unknown to most of them, and the grim face of Rankor the Traitorous, who changed the cheers of the crowd to lustful boos as he appeared.

The boos were quickly silenced when Aegis spoke. “Welcome, my friends,” he addressed the crowd, “to the aCe: Adversaries for Centra's Essence! A representative of each of this dimension's warring factions stands before you today, ready to officially begin a new era for this dimension. The wars that have haunted this land for far too long have been moved from their old battlefields,” he gestured grandly at all around him, then pointed to the ring, “to that one.

“Starting tonight we will begin to compete for the ultimate prize: Centra's Essence!” At that, four heavily armed and armored Ravagers stepped out from the back and presented the Essence of Centra in the form of the aCe Championship and aCe Tag Team Championship belts, and a hushed silence fell over the crowd. “Each man on stage tonight will face each of the others in a round-robin competition, and the two top finishers will move on to a tournament to determine the first aCe Champion. Let the competition begin!” The security detail left the arena as the arena broke out in applause at Aegis' words. Rankor and the unknown man returned to the back, while Aegis and the second Ravager headed to the ring to begin their match.

Aegis vs. Nicodemus
Nicodemus won with a NUCLEAR WINTER - **
Recap: Nicodemus dominated a short match. Aegis kicked out after a first NUCLEAR WINTER, but could not withstand a second.

General Rankor vs. Godsend
General Rankor won with GUILTY OF TREASON - ***¼
Recap: There was lots of back and forth action in this match. After failing to secure victory with a first GUILTY OF TREASON, Rankor tied up Godsend in the ropes with it a second time, and he quickly tapped when he realized he could not escape.

Godsend vs. Nicodemus
Godsend won with a Dragon Sleeper - ***
Recap: Godsend took out his frustration from losing the last match on Nicodemus, absolutely punishing him. Godsend took him down early, hitting THE REALM ETERNAL twice and applying a lengthy Dextral Choke, but was unable to defeat him. He finally made the Ancient pass out to a Dragon Sleeper.

Aegis vs. General Rankor
Aegis won with a RAMPART'S REVENGE - ***¾
Recap: Rankor was strong early, nearly getting the win on an already-exhausted Aegis with GUILTY OF TREASON, but the leader of the R.O.C. escaped. To end the match, Rankor missed a shoulder tackle on Aegis in the corner. Aegis quickly countered with an Opening Salvo and RAMPART'S REVENGE for the comeback victory.

Aegis vs. Godsend
Godsend won with a roll-up - ½
Recap: Both wrestlers went down early after a double clothesline. Aegis got to his feet first and took Godsend down with a cross-body press, but knocked out the referee. As Aegis tried to revive the official, Godsend hit him with a low blow then rolled him up, using the ropes for leverage as the groggy referee counted the pin.

In-Ring: Godsend rolled out of the ring and away from Aegis as soon as the referee's hand fell for a third time. Aegis slammed his hands down to the mat in disgust, more at himself than at Godsend, as the upstart backed up the aisle and taunted him. He stood up and glared at his victorious opponent, and Godsend ended his taunts and made a hasty exit from the arena.

Aegis fetched up a microphone and addressed the crowd. “People of Centra Prime,” he began, “I have failed you here tonight.” This comment brought disagreement from the crowd, but Aegis continued. “But in this war, the aCe, you have my solemn vow that the Ramparts of Centra will not fail you. When this battle ends, the Essence will be in the hands of the R.O.C., and the forces that fight for this world will be victorious! God bless the R.O.C., and God bless Centra!”

The crowd began an “Ae-gis!” chant and the leader of the forces of Centra stood tall in the middle of the ring. He delivered a salute to all four sides of the ring. The cheers and hope of the crowd infused him, and he knew that he would fight and win another day. He had to.

General Rankor vs. Nicodemus
Nicodemus won with a spinebuster - *
Recap: Rankor missed a shoulder tackle, much like in his match with Aegis, and allowed Nicodemus to take over early on. A spinebuster later and Rankor, already exhausted from two previous matches, was defeated. (Godsend advances to the tournament as the Pool A winner. Nicodemus advances to the tournament as the Pool A runner-up.)

January 15th, 2119 – Centra Palladium
aCe Championship Tournament – Qualifying Pool B

In-Ring: Lance At-Las came out to the hearty approval of the fans to begin the second qualifying series for the aCe Championship tournament. His familiar music filled the arena as he approached the ring, and the people of Centra cheered wildly for their greatest wrestling hero. He acknowledged the fans, then turned to face the aisle and stretched as he waited for his opponent.

A great beat of drums filled the arena as four small tribesmen of Primus walked out with instruments in hand, beating a simple, steady rhythm. Behind them appeared an enormous tribesman, a monstrosity of almost immeasurable size. Nobody in the arena had ever seen him in person, but they knew who he was; the stories surrounding him had spread quickly, and he was well-known. This was Paganax, the Heathen Chief of Primus.

Lance At-Las vs. Paganax
Paganax won with a PAGAN VOID - **½
Recap: The Heathen Chief was too much for CWF legend Lance At-Las to handle. At-Las fought valiently, but was unable to mount much offense before succumbing to Paganax's own high-powered offense and the PAGAN VOID.

In-Ring: Another face that was familiar to wrestling fans on Centra appeared for the second match as the legendary Ravager Ventross appeared to start the second match. Cheers and applause greeted him, though nowhere near as loud as the cheers that Lance At-Las received or the boos for the one who followed, for the second competitor in this match was the most feared and hated being in all of Dimension Y. He was Murdok, and it was his Crusade that had torn the dimension apart with war. Boos filled the arena and debris aimed at Murdok filled the aisle as he approached, and Murdok responded with murderous glares into the crowd. The onslaught continued and the match began in spite of it.

Murdok vs. Ventross
Ventross won by disqualification – DUD
Recap: Murdok lost his cool after getting frustrated by Ventross and the crowd after just a short time and laid out the Ravager with two vicious chair shots on the outside, causing the disqualification.

In-Ring: Murdok taunted the crowd as he stood over the fallen body of Ventross. His assault continued until Lance At-Las ran down to ringside. He stopped Murdok from landing a fifth chair shot with a punch, then threw him into the ring. The barrage of hatred from the crowd for Murdok was replaced by cheers for their hero as the bell rang to begin the third match of the night.

Lance At-Las vs. Murdok
Lance At-Las won with an Atlas World Beater - ***
Recap: This was a good match, with the veteran At-Las being able to go hold-for-hold with Murdok. The match ended after an At-Las reversal led into the World Beater and the three count.

Paganax vs. Ventross
Paganax won with a PAGAN VOID - **
Recap: Paganax almost won early after a quick PAGAN VOID, but Ventross was able to grab the ropes. The action spilled outside and saw Ventross take over until an ill-advised dive swung the momentum of the match back to Paganax. A few high-impact moves set up the PAGAN VOID and a win for Paganax. (Paganax advances to the tournament as the Pool B winner.)

Murdok vs. Paganax
Murdok won with an Antilian Atomic Drop - ½
Recap: Paganax and Murdok traded thunderous moves for a while, but the two powerhouses had given too much earlier in the night to last long. In the end, Murdok took the victory after an Antilian Atomic Drop. With Paganax's spot in the tournament assured, though, the outcome of the match meant little. The crowd was quiet for most of the match, too afraid of both beings to make much noise.

Lance At-Las vs. Ventross
Lance At-Las won with a MARS MANHANDLER - **
Recap: Lance At-Las took the win in a short match. Ventross went to the top rope with At-Las down, as in his previous match, and was caught with At-Las' boot as he came down. At-Las hit the MARS MANHANDLER, but the huge Ravager kicked out. He applied his finisher again to keep Ventross down for good. (Lance At-Las advances to the tournament as the Pool B runner-up.)

In-Ring: Lance At-Las helped Ventross to his feet and offered his hand to the Ravager. Ventross hesitated momentarily, then shook his hand to the crowd's approval and left the ring. At-Las celebrated his victory and entry into the tournament in the ring. He celebrated not because he wanted to, though, but because he knew the people wanted to cheer. This was their celebration, and the reluctant hero did not disappoint them, staying long into the night until voices became hoarse and tired bodies left the Palladium and returned to their homes.

February 1st, 2119 – Centra Palladium

The Specialists vs. Resurrection
Cremator defeated Shepard with a CREMATOR CLAW - *
Recap: Shepard blinded Corporal Tek with his Anti-Virus early, and Tek rolled out of the ring. Shepard followed and was met by Cremator on the outside, who flung him face first into the ring bell. The two zombies threw him back into the ring and Cremator tagged in to apply the CREMATOR CLAW for the victory. (Resurrection advanced to the aCe Tag Team Championship match.)

In-Ring: After the match, Godsend and Murdok ran down to the ring. A quick attack from behind by Murdok took down Scorch while Godsend, Corporal Tek, and Cremator beat down Shepard in the ring. Murdok called out Corporal Tek and the two set up a table outside while the assault continued on Shepard inside the ring. Godsend then set Shepard up for THE REALM ETERNAL, and hurled Shepard out of the ring and through the table with it.

Lance At-Las ran out from the locker room with a chair, and he and a recovered Scorch drove away the members of Murdok's Crusade. The damage was done, though, as Shepard laid motionless among the ruins of the shattered table. Medical technicians came down to ringside and tended to the fallen Rampart. He was fitted with a neck collar, strapped to a backboard, and wheeled away. As he was rolled to the back, Shepard weakly made the sign of the cross, and the crowd erupted in applause. The Vagabond Priest would be back soon to fight for the ROC and for Centra, and they all knew it.

“They will pay for this, friend,” At-Las said quietly, “they will pay.” Scorch clapped At-Las roughly on the shoulder, and the two Ramparts followed their injured comrade up the aisle to the locker room. (Shepard was injured for eleven cards.)

Darkness Falls vs. The SWAT Team
Flatliner defeated Jakyll with SHOCK AND AWE - ***¼
Recap: Darkness Falls worked over Flatliner with double team moves to start the match. Flatliner was eventually able to get the hot tag to Warfare, who came in and unloaded on Jakyll with power moves. After wearing down Jakyll, Warfare tagged Flatliner back in to hit SHOCK AND AWE for the win. (The SWAT Team advanced to the aCe Tag Team Championship match.)

Godsend vs. Lance At-Las
Godsend won with a Demon Bomb - *
Recap: At-Las was able to use his experience and wrestling ability to control the match for a while. Godsend rolled outside after a pin attempt and At-Las followed, and Godsend used his youth and physicality to take over on the older wrestler. He threw At-Las back into the ring, and immediately hit a Demon Bomb and used the ropes again for leverage and the three count. (Godsend advanced to the aCe Championship match.)

In-Ring: Godsend celebrated his victory, taunting the fans at ringside. While his attention was turned away, though, Lance At-Las retrieved a chair from the ringside area and nailed Godsend with it. Godsend went down hard to the mat, and At-Las continued his assault.

He delivered the MARS MANHANDLER three times, the third time onto the very chair he took Godsend down with initially. The crowd's applause grew with each use of the legendary finisher. At-Las climbed to the second turnbuckle after the third application and slowly made Shepard's signature sign of the cross, and the crowd roared its approval. The CWF legend hopped down from the turnbuckle, shot one last look of disgust at Godsend as he clutched his neck in pain on the mat, and then walked victoriously past the returning medical technicians as he returned to the locker room. (Godsend was injured for four cards.)

Paganax vs. Nicodemus
Nicodemus won with a Commander Clothesline - *½
Recap: Paganax was able to use his strength to dominate in the ring. He kept taking Nicodemus to the outside, though, and the Ancient Ravager used his intellect to take over every time by ramming Paganax into the ring posts, a table, or anything else that was handy. The finish came on a flash pin by Nicodemus that Paganax almost kicked out of. (Nicodemus advanced to the aCe Championship match.)

aCe Tag Team Championship Match
Resurrection vs. The SWAT Team
Flatliner defeate Cremator with SHOCK AND AWE - ****
Recap: The SWAT Team almost won in about twenty seconds to start the match. Flatliner hit a Fusion Bomb on Cremator, then tagged in Payback who immediately tagged him back as the two hit THE BIG PAYBACK and almost scored the pin. The humanoids continued to control the match, with Warfare doing most of the work due to Flatliner being exhausted from his earlier use of SHOCK AND AWE. The finish came when warfare hit SHOCK AND AWE on Cremator, failed to get the pin, then hit a body splash and a second SHOCK AND AWE. Flatliner and Cremator both collapsed after the second application of the devastating finisher, with Flatliner happening to land on top for the pin. (Flatliner was injured for two cards. The SWAT Team won the aCe Tag Team Championship.)

In-Ring: Warfare got into the ring and helped the nearly-unconscious Flatliner to his feet. The Ravager honor guard came down to the ring with the aCe Tag Team Championship belts. The Essence belts glowed softly and the crowd grew silent during the solemn presentation. The belts were handed to the victorious SWAT Team, with Flatliner draping his belt over his shoulder and Warfare hoisting his high into the air to a good response from the crowd.

The rest of the Ravager Army came down to the ring to celebrate the victory. Nemean helped Flatliner out of the ring and up the aisle, with Warfare and Ventross accompanying them. Nicodemus remained in the ring, however, and motioned to the back, gesturing for Godsend to come out for the aCe Championship match.

Godsend came out from behind the curtain holding a microphone in one hand and clutching his neck with the other. “We'll have to put this match off until later,” he said, “because that maniac At-Las tried to cripple me. You wouldn't want to win the Essence under these circumstances, would you? So maybe in a couple of weeks ...”

Nicodemus cut him off, using the equipment in his helmet to amplify his voice. “Bring down the aCe Championship,” he called, seemingly targeting his voice beyond Godsend. “It appears that Godsend wishes to forfeit.”

“No!” Godsend whined, “We'll just wrestle for it later! Give me a few weeks to heal and ...”

“Wrestle or forfeit,” Nicodemus said, cutting him off again. “There is no provision in the rules for rescheduling a match, and you know that.”

Godsend's countenance suddenly changed. His hand dropped from his injured neck and his eyes stared straight ahead at Nicodemus, directing his hate on the Ancient as they flared with anger. “You'll be sorry, Ravager,” Godsend said softly into the microphone before casting it aside. He calmly walked down the aisle and entered the ring as the ring announcer began the introductions for the match.

aCe Championship Match
Godsend vs. Nicodemus
Nicodemus won with a NUCLEAR WINTER - ***
Recap: Godsend jumped Nicodemus before the bell and was able to do well for himself at the beginning of the match, despite his injury. He got a couple of near-falls thanks to THE REALM ETERNAL and his other signature moves. His injury slowed him down, though, and the healthy Nicodemus was just too much for him, eventually taking over on offense and getting the pinfall. (Nicodemus won the aCe Championship.)

In-Ring: Godsend rolled out of the ring like a whipped dog and slunk to the back as he clutched his neck. He was nearly knocked down as the Ravager Army once again ran down the aisle, this time to celebrate with their leader as he was presented with the aCe Championship. When Flatliner finally made it into the ring after lagging behind his teammates due to his exertion from the earlier match, the three Ravager Army champions all held their belts aloft. The house lights in the Palladium dimmed slightly, and the glow of the three Essence belts shone throughout the arena and illuminated the victorious Ravager wrestlers.

Nice start!

Funny how things go... In my fed, Shepard has been the only bright light in the ROC, and Lance has been horrible. Meanwhile, Nicodemus is 1-6..

Total opposite here, very interesting.

I like what you did with Lance, good to see he doesn't suck in some quarters.

Thanks for the kind words, Wildfire. I've got a couple of more cards finished already that I just didn't have time to get posted before work this morning.

I've got high hopes for Shepard, and while I was disappointed to see him get injured, it makes for a good story. It's given Lance and Aegis that much more to fight for, and Shepard's return should be awesome. I won't hold him back for too long, though, because I really want to get him back in action.

February 15th, 2119 – Centra Palladium

Grovel vs. Nemean
Grovel won with a Repeated Throat Driver - **
Recap: Nemean almost won in the opening seconds, nearly getting a pinfall by hitting a Meteor Strike after ducking a Hitman's Clothesline. The more experienced Grovel went to the outside, though, and the brawling led to his eventual win.

Scorch vs. Noxious
Scorch won with THE TRAILBLAZER - **½
Recap: Scorch came out with a purpose, dominating the match and winning after hitting THE TRAILBLAZER two times.

In-Ring: As soon as the bell rang, Godsend appeared from behind the curtain and ran down the aisle. He slid into the ring and leveled Scorch with a clothesline. He and Noxious then started pounding the downed Rampart. Noxious set Scorch up in the corner and began hammering him with his finisher, OUTBREAK, as Godsend retrieved a microphone.

“This is for you, Lance!” Godsend called towards the back as Noxious continued his assault. “Look at him! You did this when you cheated me out of my championship. I should be the aCe Champion! I should have the Essence!”

Lance At-Las appeared from behind the curtain with his fellow Ramparts, Aegis and Rouser. The trio rushed the ring, and Godsend immediately dropped the microphone and ordered Noxious out of the ring with him. The two retreated as the Ramparts entered the ring and checked on their teammate. Scorch's face had been busted open, and Aegis and Rouser helped him to his feet as At-Las stared down the retreating Godsend and Noxious. The Ramparts gave Scorch a few moments to recover, then the quartet slowly made their ring back up the aisle, Aegis and Rouser helping the injured Scorch to the back. (Scorch was injured for four cards.)

General Rankor vs. Ventross
General Rankor won with a front face DDT - ½
Recap: There was lots of brawling outside in this match. Rankor rolled back into the ring after an extended stay on the outside. Ventross ducked through the ropes to follow him in and was caught by a front face DDT as he came through. Rankor got his feet on the ropes away from the referee's field of vision and got the surprise pin.

#1 Contenders' Match
Darkness Falls vs. Resurrection
Corporal Tek defeated Jakyll with an ANTILIAN RUINS - ****¼
Recap: Both teams put on a tag wrestling clinic, with Resurrection showing off their offensive capabilities and Darkness Falls displaying their toughness and instinctive cohesiveness. Darkness Falls managed a couple of near-falls, but were never able to keep their momentum for very long. Resurrection got in most of the offense during the match and won after hitting an ANTILIAN RUINS. (Resurrection became the #1 contenders for the aCe Tag Team Championship.)

In-Ring: Aegis came out to the thunderous applause of the crowd, and waited for Murdok to make his appearance. As he came out of the back, he made a show of drawing the curtain back and holding it open for another figure. The second figure walked out of the shadow and Aegis' knees got weak. Accompanying Murdok to the ring was the plague-riddled visage of Aegis' wife, Trisis. An evil smile drew across Murdok's face as he took her by the hand and led her down to the ring for the match.

Aegis vs. Murdok
Murdok won with an Antilian Atomic Drop - *****
Recap: Aegis was distracted by Trisis' presence to start the match, and Murdok took advantage by laying him out with a huge cross-body block. Murdok continued to assault the bewildered Rampart, who seemed to be more concerned with the reappearance of Trisis than with Murdok. Trisis eventually tried to help Murdok attack Aegis, but he ducked out of the way and Murdok knocked her back out of the ring. This seemed to wake up Aegis, and he started to fight back in earnest.

Aegis fought back through the physical and emotional pain to take control. He devastated Murdok with a Centra Spinebuster and had him down for three, but Trisis broke the count by distracting the referee. Aegis went for a RAMPART'S REVENGE, but Murdok rolled away and went back to work on his downed foe.

The brutal match continued with both men scoring near-falls. Murdok took over by hitting Aegis with several high-impact moves, but he kept kicking out. Murdok proved to be too much in the end, though, and an exhausted Aegis finally fell to an Antilian Atomic Drop. This was a match that would rank as an all-time classic in any federation.

In-Ring: An exhausted and victorious Murdok rolled out of the ring after the bell rang, and took Trisis by the hand once again and started to take her towards the exit. The leader of the ROC mustered the strength he had left to lift his head and crawl towards the duo. Murdok laughed and taunted his foe as he backed up the aisle, then turned his back and escorted his prize through the curtain. Aegis collapsed in the ring and his old friend, Lance At-Las, ran out from the back to tend to him. At-Las helped Aegis to his feet and started to help him to the back, but Aegis shook him off and insisted on walking the Aisle on his own power. The crowd in the arena applauded Aegis for his effort as the two Ramparts left the arena.

Wow!

Yet ANOTHER kick-ass aCe federation.

Man, I'm so happy to see aCe bringing out the best writing and storytelling abilities in people.

Fantastic stuff, Daddy.

...I imagine that last line being in a Bill Alphonso voice.

Thanks for the high praise, Osk! If I can get a Fonzie reference out of something I've done, I must be doing something right. I'm glad people seem to like it.

I just finished catching up with my recaps, so I'll actually get to put up show previews now, too. Thanks to you and Tom for giving us such an awesome little sandbox to play in!

February 22nd, 2119 – Centra Palladium

Ventross vs. Grovel
Ventross won with a running powerbomb - ½
Recap: Ventross absolutely dominated this match, not allowing Grovel to get in any offense before putting him away.

Heroes United vs. Darkness Falls
Aegis defeated Jakyll with a RAMPART'S REVENGE - ***¾
Recap: Darkness Falls continued their streak of having strong matches but being unable to come out on top. Aegis hit a perfect RAMPART'S REVENGE on Krypt and had him pinned easily, but Murdok and Godsend ran out from the back to interfere. Aegis broke the pin and caught them as they entered the ring and slammed their heads together, dropping them and driving them out of the ring. Rouser ran down from the back brandishing his sign as a weapon and drove the duo to the back. The match continued and Darkness Falls again showed off exceptional teamwork and toughness, with Jakyll even kicking out from a RAMPART'S REVENGE, but Heroes United was too much for them. After another RAMPART'S REVENGE, the ROC team was victorious.

In-Ring: Aegis grabbed a microphone after the victory and called out to the back. “Murdok!” he yelled, “Get back out here! Now!” Murdok and Godsend appeared from behind the curtain, with Godsend rubbing his neck and Murdok holding a microphone. Aegis threw down his microphone as soon as the duo appeared and started towards them while screaming, “I'll kill you!” but he was stopped by Lance At-Las.

“Now, now, Aegis,” Murdok taunted, “the aCe was created so we could avoid that sort of unnecessary violence. We're not here to discuss your marital problems, old friend, we're here to wrestle. We're here for the Essence”

Aegis' face contorted with rage as he attempted to regain his composure. He bent down to pick up his discarded microphone and addressed Murdok once again. “Fine,” he spat, the hatred he felt for Murdok barely contained in his voice, “I'll make it about the Essence, then. I'll make it about wrestling. You and your little flunkie there,” Godsend visibly bristled at the appellation, “against Lance and I in a tag-team match. I'm sure the winner of that match will be right in line for a shot at the Tag Team Championship. You up for it?”

Godsend rubbed his neck again and turned to say something to Murdok, but he was ignored as Murdok responded to Aegis. “You're on, Aegis. Godsend and I will finish the job we started with Scorch and that filthy priest. We'll see you at the next show. And Aegis,” he quipped, pausing his egress from the arena, “Trisis sends her love. Come, Godsend.” Godsend tried to protest as Murdok left, but his pleas were ignored. He turned to the ring and cast a hateful glare at Aegis and At-Las, then followed Murdok to the back, no doubt to plead his case further.

Aegis stared straight ahead towards the back of the arena, his face swirling with both determination and rage. “I will kill you,” he mouthed silently, before beginning his own exit to the back with his friend and partner.

Paganax vs. Rouser
Paganax won with a PAGAN VOID - **
Recap: Paganax crushed Rouser in this one. He toyed with Rouser, allowing the Rampart to attack him, and shrugged off blow after blow. Paganax finally decided to take over and pounded Rouser down to the mat. He showed off some impressive aerial skills to go along with his strength with two deathjumps, and he ultimately defeated Rouser with the PAGAN VOID.

aCe Tag Team Championsip Match
The SWAT Team (c) vs. Resurrection
Corporal Tek defeated Warfare with CORPORAL PUNISHMENT - ****¼
Recap: The action was frantic in this one, with multiple pinfall attempts on almost every participant. Corporal Tek and Cremator both kicked out of SHOCK AND AWE and Warfare kicked out of an ANTILIAN RUINS. Warfare and Flatliner started to double-team Cremator towards the end of the match. Cremator ducked an attempted double-team clothesline, though, and Flatliner ended up taking out Warfare. Resurrection proceeded to hit another ANTILIAN RUINS on the big man, which his partner broke up, then Corporal Tek finished him off with CORPORAL PUNISHMENT. (Resurrection won the aCe Tag Team Championship.)

In-Ring: Corporal Tek hoisted a hand in victory as the bell rang, and Cremator awkwardly mimicked his leader's celebration. The referee presented the two combatants with the glowing Essence belts, and an eerie quiet descended over the ring as the crowd witnessed the macabre scene. Murdok appeared at the end of the Aisle and applauded his new champions, then summoned them to him. Both Corporal Tek and Cremator nodded in acknowledgment, and the two walked down the aisle and presented their master with with their newly-won championship belts. He hoisted them high over his head in celebration, then the grisly trio walked out of the arena.

aCe Championship Match
Nicodemus (c) vs. General Rankor
General Rankor defeated Nicodemus with GUILTY OF TREASON - **½
Recap: Nicodemus was in control for most of the match, but his offense could never take General Rankor down. Rankor finally took the advantage after a missed move by Nicodemus and wore him down with a few power moves. He then hit a huge back superplex to knock the wind out of the Ancient, and he followed that up by tying Nicodemus up in the ropes with GUILTY OF TREASON. Nicodemus fought to get out, but he just didn't have the energy to make it out before falling unconscious thanks to the power moves that proceeded it from General Rankor. (General Rankor won the aCe Championship.)

In-Ring: After the belt, General Rankor seized the aCe Championship and started to pound Nicodemus with it, seemingly trying to break through the protective bubble of his helmet. Ventross came out and made the save, though, driving off the new aCe Champion and freeing Nicodemus.

“Rankor,” Ventross called out after retrieving a microphone, “lets see how tough you are defending that belt against me!”

Rankor called for and was given a microphone. “Just a minute,” he retorted, “didn't I just beat you on the last show? You don't get a title shot against me when it's already been made clear that you can't beat me.” Ventross howled with rage, and Rankor continued. “Since I'm a fair champion, though, I'll give you a chance. You beat me in a non-title match next week, and you can have your title match. How does that sound?”

Ventross nodded his head and wrung his hands together in acceptance of General Rankor's proposal. Rankor strapped the glowing belt around his waist and slapped it two times in Ventross' direction, taunting the fierce Ravager with his leader's old championship, then walked back out of the arena. Ventross helped Nicodemus to his feet and his leader thanked him, then the two figures walked down the aisle to leave the arena and return to the Ravager Mothership.

Thanks! I'm a big geek, so having the star ratings was important to me. I've got a method for doing match times, too, but it requires me either counting every die roll or playing with CotG Desktop (a fine program, BTW). I'm not inclined to do either on every card, though, so the times are out. :)

If you're interested, I can post or PM my star method for you.

March 1st, 2119 – Centra Palladium

Nemean vs. Noxious
Nemean won with a HUNGER STRIKE - *½
Recap: Nemean gets a quick and impressive win over the being once known as Meteor. Noxious kicked out of a Fusion Bomb, but Nemean followed right up with a HUNGER STRIKE for the pinfall.

In-Ring: Nemean jumped off of Noxious and raised his hands into the air, celebrating his victory. "I beat Meteor!" he yelled as he bounded around the ring, mugging for the crowd. "I beat Meteor!" The downed form of Noxious started to stir and cast a ravenous glance Nemean's way, and the young Ravager took that cue to dash out of the ring and start back up the aisle. "I beat Meteor!" he continued to cry out, pumping his arms in the air as he walked back towards the locker rooms.

As he backed up towards the curtain, he ran into the just-emerging Warfare and spun around to see both members of the SWAT Team standing in front of him. "Did you see that?" he asked, "I beat Meteor!"

"No, kid," Flatliner said, "you beat Noxious. I don't know what the hell that is in the ring, but it's not Meteor. Not anymore."

"It's a nice start, though," Warfare added with a chuckle. "Now get back in the back before it realizes what you're doing and decides to eat you." Nemean's eyes got big and he turned around to look back at the ring, staring at Noxious as he shambled up aisle. Nemean nodded at the SWAT Team, took one more opportunity to raise his arms in the air and prompt another cheer from the crowd, then dashed back into the locker room. Warfare shook his head and smiled as he and Flatliner headed down the aisle for their match.

#1 Contenders' Match
The SWAT Team vs. Darkness Falls
Warfare defeated Krypt with a backward head slam - ***½
Recap: Darkness Falls once again showed off their teamwork and resilience in this match, never letting the SWAT Team have an advantage for too long. They nearly had the pin on Warfare at one point, but Flatliner prevented the pinfall. Darkness Falls went for a double-team, but Warfare ducked and Jakyll laid out Krypt. Warfare then nailed Jakyll with a backward head slam for a surprise pinfall. (The SWAT Team become the #1 contenders for the aCe Tag Team Championship.)

In-Ring: Darkness Falls squabbled in the ring after their loss, but their argument was cut short by the rhythmic beating of drums as Paganax walked to the ring. The two frightened tribesmen bowed down before their chief and cowered as he yelled at them in a deep, growling voice. The verbal browbeating continued for two minutes before Krypt and Jakyll rose and walked to a corner as if to begin a tag match. Paganax walked to the edge of the ring and pointed at the timekeeper. "Ring the bell," he said in his heavily-accented speech. The timekeeper did as he was instructed and Paganax assumed a fighting posture as he turned around to face his hard-luck tag team.

Handicap Elimination Match
Paganax vs. Darkness Falls
Paganax defeated Krypt with a PAGAN VOID
Paganax defeated Jakyll with a guillotine lariat - *
Recap: Paganax ordered Jakyll to attack him, and the Tribesman reluctantly agreed. Paganax stood like a rock as Jakyll pounded on his chest, then he flattened the smaller Tribesman with a few power moves before throwing him to his partner in the corner. Krypt was almost immediately levelled by a guillotine lariat after tagging in, which Paganax followed up with a PAGAN VOID to eliminate him. Jakyll jumped back into the ring and tried to club at Paganax's chest again, but was rewarded for his efforts by almost getting his neck broken by a guillotine lariat and then being pinned to put a merciful end to the beating.

In-Ring: Paganax rose and panted heavily. His form swelled with power as he towered over the quivering bodies of Krypt and Jakyll. He reached down and seized each by the neck, drawing their faces close to his own before he growled out a final instruction to each in the language of Primus. He then hurled both through the ring ropes to the outside where each landed in a heap.

Paganax stood on the first rope, facing the curtain, and spread his arms wide as he bellowed "Come, Ravager!" Nicodemus appeared from the locker room and Paganax let out a blood-curdling scream, then bounded savagely off of the ropes and prowled the ring like an animal as Nicodemus walked down the aisle for match.

Paganax vs. Nicodemus
Paganax won with a PAGAN VOID - ****
Recap: Nicodemus used Paganax's aggression to his advantage early on in the match, taking over after one of his opponent's missteps and nearly getting a quick pinfall after a Commander Clothesline. Paganax came right back, though, laying out Nicodemus with a running Primal Scream off of the ropes and following up with a PAGAN VOID, but the savvy Nicodemus was able to reach the ropes. Nicodemus again went on offense after another Paganax mistake and got in a series of near-falls, but he could never quite keep Paganax down. Paganax started to shrug off Nicodemus' blows and eventually regained control, throwing him out of the ring and absolutely crushing him with a flying body press from the inside before throwing him back inside.

Paganax locked in a Face Smothering on Nicodemus, but the wily Ravager started to work his way towards the ropes and nearly made it to break the hold. Paganax, though, in an incredible show of strength, tossed Nicodemus backwards and up over his head by the neck, turning the sleeper hold into a PAGAN VOID as Nicodemus came down. The crowd rose to their feet at the awesome display of power and stood stunned as the Heathen Chief kicked the motionless Nicodemus onto his back, placing one foot on his chest for the pinfall victory.

Non-Title Match
General Rankor vs. Ventross
General Rankor won with GUILTY OF TREASON - ***
Recap: There was lots of quick, hard-hitting action in this match. Ventross almost scored a quick pin after a MERCY KILLING, but General Rankor hadn't been worn down yet and was able to kick out. Rankor rolled out of the ring and Ventross followed, only to get slammed into a table. Rankor rolled back into the ring and, just like in their last match, nailed Ventross with a front face DDT as he climbed back through the ropes. He again used the ropes for leverage, but the referee saw it and refused to count the pin. Rankor quickly followed up with an uppercut headbutt and GUILTY OF TREASON. Ventross fought for a while, but tapped out when he realized he wasn't going to make it out.

In-Ring: The official tried to free Ventross from the ropes after the match ended, but Rankor nailed with a Treacherous Throwdown, knocking him out of commission. He then got out of the ring and pulled down on Ventross' legs, increasing the pressure the ropes put on his throat, cutting off his air supply. The crowd in the arena exploded in a chorus of boos, but Rankor continued until Ventross fell limp and stopped struggling. He then released the giant Ravager's feet and taunted the crowd before retrieving the aCe Championship and heading down the aisle. He threatened the medical technicians who ran down past him for good measure, then made his way out of the arena. (Ventross was injured for four cards.)

Heroes United vs. Holy Crusade
Aegis defeated Murdok with a RAMPART'S REVENGE - ****½
Recap: This was another classic match, primarily involving Aegis and Murdok, who both started the match for their respective teams. The action went back and forth across several tags for Heroes United, with Aegis eventually getting the upper hand. He hit a RAMPART'S REVENGE for what should have been a pinfall, but Trisis got up on the apron to distract him, though. He went to try to talk to her and she slashed at his eyes with her claws. Aegis staggered, more from the blow of seeing Trisis attack him than the damage she did, and the match continued with Murdok taking control.

Murdok went to tag in Godsend, but he was reluctant, again complaining about his neck. Murdok slapped him across the face for the tag, however, and left the ring. Godsend glared at Murdok briefly then entered the ring to apply a Dextral Choke on Aegis. He held the choke for nearly a minute, with Aegis refusing to tap our or pass out, before Lance At-Las finally broke the hold. Aegis then slipped away from Godsend and made it over for a hot tag to At-Las.

Godsend made a hasty retreat as At-Las came in, moving to tag in Murdok again. Murdok came in and wore down the legendary At-Las before he was able to slip away and tag in Aegis. As Murdok ran at him, he hit a Centra Spinebuser to take Murdok down. He hit a second RAMPART'S REVENGE, but somehow Murdok, already exhausted from carrying Godsend in the match, managed to kick out. Aegis got up and shook the cobwebs from his head after the impact of the move, then went back up for one final application of RAMPART'S REVENGE. This last shot was enough to secure the win, and the victorious Aegis rolled off of Murdok as At-Las came in to celebrate.

In-Ring: As Lance At-Las attempted to help Aegis back to his feet after the exhausting match, Godsend reached into his tights and pulled out a set of brass knuckles. He slipped them on and came up behind At-Las, then got his attention and laid him out. Godsend picked At-Las up again and measured him for a second shot, when the crowd erupted in applause. Godsend looked down the aisle to see the injured figures of Shepard and Scorch coming down for the save. Godsend rolled out of the ring and pulled Murdok out with him, both managing to get out of the ring before the Specialists hit.

At-Las fetched a microphone from ringside as Shepard tended to Aegis. “Godsend!” he called, “It's time for us to end this! Next show, you bring any two people you want to face me, Shepard, and Scorch in a six-man tag. If your team wins, you can dictate how we settle this. If my team wins, we do it on my terms. What do you say?”

Godsend smirked and nodded at At-Las in reply, and the crowd exploded. Godsend and Murdok left the arena, and back in the ring Aegis had come to his feet and stood next to At-Las. The four members of the ROC celebrated Heroes United's victory with the crowd before finally leaving the ring.

Well, if Paganax decides he wants to be half the show and lay out 15% of the roster by himself in a single night, I'm not going to argue with him, are you? ;)

March 15th, 2119 – Centra Palladium

In-Ring: General Rankor came down to the ring to his usual entrance theme, a chorus of boos from the crowd at the Centra Palladium, carrying a microphone. The glowing Essence belt pulsed with energy around his waist, and he raised his fists triumphantly as he stood strong in the center of the ring against the barrage of debris that assailed him. “I noticed that I wasn't booked for a match tonight, and I thought that was unfair to you people,” he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm, “the fans of the aCe. So, I've arranged for a special title defense here tonight, against an opponent from the Ravagers.” The fans erupted, cheering General Rankor, albeit indirectly, for the first time ever.

“It's not going to be that poor excuse for a wrestler, Ventross, however,” Rankor continued, “as it's been well documented that he can't beat me. No, I've selected a far more deserving opponent. So come on out here, and lets give these people their money's worth.” With that, the Ravagers' theme music hit and Nemean, not Nicodemus as Rankor's speech led the audience to believe, started down the aisle. Rankor laughed derisively as the enthusiastic young Ravager made his way down to the ring, pumping his fists in the air to try to work up the somewhat dissapointed crowd.

aCe Championship Match
General Rankor (c) vs. Nemean
General Rankor won with GUILTY OF TREASON - *
Recap: Nemean went for an Atlas World Beater as soon as the bell rang, but Rankor was too strong for him. The champion countered with a sub-atomic drop, then hurled the young Ravager into the ropes for GUILTY OF TREASON. Nemean tried to get himself untangled, but was unable to do so before he passed out. (General Rankor retains the aCe Championship.)

Paganax vs. Noxious
Paganax won with a PAGAN VOID - **
Recap: Paganax dominated this match. He again displayed his athleticism with an awe-inspiring cross body onto Noxious from the ring to the floor, then threw him back into the ring for a few more power moves and a PAGAN VOID to secure the victory.

In-Ring: After the match, Godsend came down to the ringside area and showered the massive tri. Paganax hunched down, motioning the new arrival into the ring, but Godsend shook his head and pulled out a microphone to speak. “I'm not here to fight you,” Godsend said, “I want to fight with you. Team up with me tonight against the ROC.”

Noxious started to stir, drawing Paganax's attention, and the Heathen Chief delivered a forceful kick to his spine to end his short-lived recovery. Paganax then turned to address Godsend, his voice booming across the arena without need of much amplification. “I fight with you, then Krypt and Jakyll fight for Essence belts.”

“Well, we've already got them booked tonight, but I'm sure we can arrange for your minions to get a title shot after they dispose of their opponents tonight. So does this mean we have a deal?”

Paganax grabbed the top rope and flung himself over it with a slingshot motion, landing on the ground next to Godsend with a thud. The two beings stared at one another for a few moments, with neither one flinching. “If they lose?” Paganax growled.

“I wouldn't worry about that,” Godsend replied cockily.

“If they lose?” Paganax repeated, his tone much more forceful this time.

“Then obviously,” Godsend answered derisively, “you would be free of your obligation to me.” Paganax snorted into Godsend's face and nodded his acceptance, then pushed him aside as he walked to the back. Godsend glared at his would-be partner as he went up the aisle, seething with rage at the scorn shown to him by the Heathen Chief, before finally following in his steps back towards the locker room.

Ventross vs. Grovel
Grovel won with a fallaway slam - ½
Recap: In a huge upset, Grovel defeated Ventross in a short match. He surprised an off-balance Ventross with a fallaway slam, then quickly covered him, just barely getting the pin on the dazed Ravager.

In-Ring: Ventross threw Grovel off of his body, launching him through the air with the force of his microseconds-late kickout. The huge Ravager leaped to his feet and screamed with rage and frustration, and Grovel instinctively rolled out of the ring and ran down the aisle. Ventross then flew into a rage, clubbing the referee to the mat with a forearm smash, then climbing out to the floor. His rampage continued as he turned over the scorer's table and then began to beat a chair against the ringpost. Suddenly, the normally calm Nicodemus bolted down from the outside and confronted Ventross, ordering his subordinate to calm down. Ventross drew back as if to strike Nicodemus with the chair but seemed to regain control of his emotions, dropping the chair to the floor. Nicodemus turned to head back up the aisle with Ventross following close behind.

aCe Tag Team Championship Match
Resurrection (c) vs. The SWAT Team
Corporal Tek defeated Flatliner with an ANTILIAN RUINS - ****
Recap: The aCe Tag Team division continues to produce awesome matches, and this was no exception. Flatliner absorbed some major punishment early from Resurrection, before mounting a comeback and almost getting a pin after hitting SHOCK AND AWE on Corporal Tek. Cremator broke the pin, however, and the match continued. Warfare and Flatliner took over, working over the downed Corporal Tek, but were never quite able to get the pinfall. Cremator finally tagged in for his partner after Flatliner missed a move from the turnbuckle, and would have scored the win with a CREMATOR CLAW had it not been for a save from Warfare. Cremator immediately tagged in Corporal Tek and the two hit an ANTILIAN RUINS to lay out Flatliner. Tek covered and Cremator intercepted Warfare to allow the champions to retain. (Resurrection retains the aCe Tag Team Championship.)

Lance At-Las and The Specialists vs. Holy Crusade and Paganax
Murdok defeated Shepard with a CENTRA TAKEOVER - **½
Recap: Godsend's team did a good job of cutting off the ring, isolating the injured Specialists from Lance At-Las, never allowing him into the ring. They worked over Scorch at first, almost pinning him after Godsend's only offensive move of the match, THE REALM ETERNAL. Scorch eventually made a hot tag to his partner, Shepard, and while he came in full of fire, he was subdued very easily by the power of Murdok and eventually succumbed to the CENTRA TAKEOVER.

In-Ring: Shepard slammed his free hand down to the mat in disgust after tapping, and Murdok released him and kicked him away. The injured priest rolled to the outside, rejoined his teammates, and apologized profuesly to Lance At-Las. The CWF legend shook his head to indicate that no apology was necessary, but the scene was interrupted by Godsend's voice projecting through a microphone.

Murdok and Godsend stood side by side at the end of the aisle, Paganax having already left, as Godsend spoke. “It looks like your boys couldn't get it done, Lance, so at the next show we're going to settle this score once and for all. The winner, me, will stay, and no doubt go on to claim the title of aCe Champion that you robbed me of. And the loser, undoubtedly you, will be exiled from the aCe.” Lance just nodded grimly in acknowledgement of Godsend's terms. “And we'll have this match ... on Antilia!” A hush fell over the crowd as Godsend named his last stipulation. “See you next month, Lance.” Murdok laughed and Godsend placed his fists on his hips and posed, exuding confidence. At-Las stood defiant, however, his face masking any emotion as the true weight of what would happen next week set in on the crowd and everyone involved.

April 1st, 2119 – Centra Palladium
(and the Ruins of Antilia, via Holovid)

Flatliner vs. Rouser
Flatliner won with SHOCK AND AWE - *½
Recap: Rouser showed good resiliency, but could never take over on offense against Flatliner. He wore Rouser down and ended it with SHOCK AND AWE.

In-Ring: Murdok comes to the ring with a microphone in one hand and leading Trisis by the other. “I demand a title shot,” he says. “I won the six-man tag last week, not Godsend, and not that freak Paganax. I've pinned Aegis in singles competition, and I'm one of the only people around here to actually beat Paganax. I want my shot – I want the Essence!”

“No, Murdok,” Aegis said as he came through the curtain. “If I remember right, I pinned your shoulders to the ground one month ago today. I don't know where you rank in line for title shots, but I'm sure that it's below me. You get that shot before I do only over my dead body.”

“That can be arranged.”

“If anyone here deserves it,” Nicodemus said, his amplified voice echoing throughout the arena as he stepped through the curtain, “I do. As the first aCe Champion, I deserve the rematch.” All three individuals started to argue over one another, then finally, Nicodemus hit a control on his suit that sent out a brief EMP burst, shorting out the microphones of the other two. “Enough! We will settle this in the very way that the aCe was created to settle things – in the ring. The three of us wrestle, with the winner getting a title shot.”

Murdok shook his head, but was cut off by Aegis bolting down the aisle, sliding into the ring, and laying into him with punches. The bell rang as Nicodemus joined them, and the aCe's first ever Tirion Triple Threat Match was underway.

#1 Contender's Match
Aegis vs. Nicodemus vs. Murdok (Tirion Triple Threat Match)
Nicodemus defeated Murdok with a cross-body block - *½
Recap: There was a good bit of brawling to start the match, then Nicodemus was laid out after Murdok rammed him into a ringpost. Murdok and Aegis continued the fight in the ring, with Aegis getting the better of Murdok. He hit a perfect RAMPART'S REVENGE, raising the crowd to their feet, but his pinfall attempt was interrupted by Trisis entering the ring and biting down hard on Aegis' arm. Aegis flung her off, gripping his injured arm in pain, but was blindsided by Murdok who immediately locked that arm in a CENTRA TAKEOVER. Aegis screamed in pain, but refused to tap out. Suddenly, the hold was broken when a recovered Nicodemus came soaring off of the top rope, nailing Murdok with a NUCLEAR WINTER. Aegis rolled into a corner and writhed in pain, still clutching his arm, as Nicodemus continued to assault Murdok. Nicodemus finally hit a cross-body block from the top rope to score the pinfall on Murdok. (Nicodemus becomes the #1 contender to the aCe Championship.)

In-Ring: Aegis continued to scream in pain as the medical technicians ran down to the ring. Murdok, furious at his defeat, cackled at Aegis' pain as he dragged Trisis back up the aisle. Meanwhile, the medical staff tended to Aegis, with Nicodemus advising them. They finally were able to kill the pain and took Aegis out on a stretcher, but the damage was done. The wound to Aegis' arm already looked infected, as the Plague-filled bite of Trisis tried to work its damage on his body. The crowd watched on in silence as the leader of the ROC was wheeled from the ring. (Aegis was injured for six cards.)

aCe Tag Team Championshp Match
Resurrection (c) vs. Darkness Falls
Cremator defeated Krypt with a CREMATOR CLAW - *****
Recap: Once again, Darkness Falls came within a split-second of victory several times, but were unable to score a win. They almost scored a win in the opening seconds of the match with a Killer INSTINCT on Cremator, but the zombie managed to kick out. Resurrection managed to take over and scored an incredible series of four consecutive near-falls on Krypt, but the Tribesman kicked out of everything, including an ANTILIAN RUINS and a CORPORAL PUNISHMENT. The action went back and forth, with both teams scoring multiple near-falls and having lengthy stretches of offense. Ultimately Darkness Falls lost, however, after a botched double-team clothesline on a nearly-incapacitated Cremator and a CREMATOR CLAW on Krypt. This was, without question, the best tag match in the young history of the aCe. (Resurrection retains the aCe Tag Team Championship.)

In-Ring: General Rankor came to the ring wearing his aCe Championship, and grabbed a microphone. He started to run down Ventross, throwing every insult he could at the proud Ravager. “You're weak,” he said near the end of his diatribe, “and you'll never beat me.” By this point, however, Ventross had taken enough, and ran down the aisle towards the ring. Rankor stood to meet him and the two collided in the ring, fists flying as Ventross unleashed his rage on Rankor.

Paganax ran down to the ring not thirty seconds behind Ventross, however, and the devious trap was sprung. Rankor and Paganax handily beat down Ventross, the two proving to be too much for him. The crowd erupted in cheers, though, when Warfare ran down to even the odds, spearing General Rankor through the ropes and to the outside. The two brawled there as Paganax continued to work over Ventross in the ring. He nailed his foe with a Primal Scream that nearly took his head off, then hefted him over the head and delivered a PAGAN VOID. Paganax was about to deliver the devastating finisher a second time when Warfare returned to the ring with a chair in hand and smacked Paganax in the back with it, knocking him down and sending Ventross tumbling out of his grip and to the mat. Rankor came in with his own chair, and the melee continued.

Ultimately, Ravager security came down to the ring with stun rods, and they were able to separate the two parties. Paganax and Rankor left the ring, and Paganax pounded his chest victoriously. There was no real victor in the fray, however, as both Warfare and Ventross stood tall in the ring, calling out both the aCe Champion and the Heathen Chief as they left the arena.

Via Holovid: The holovid fired up and showed a ruined amphitheater on Antilia with a modern wrestling ring set up in the middle of it. While the venue was in disrepair, it still looked usable, as if it could support a decent crowd for an event. Tonight, however, it was empty, except for a referee and two lone competitors who made a long walk over the barren, rocky terrain from opposite ends of the amphitheater to the ring occupying its center. Godsend and Lance At-Las approached the ring for their match – the last match one of them would ever wrestle in the aCe.

aCe Exile Match
Godsend vs. Lance At-Las (Ruins of Antilia Match)
Lance At-Las won with a MARS MANHANDLER - ****½
Recap: Both men scored quick near-falls to start the match, Godsend after a huge running clothesline and Lance At-Las after rolling out of the corner and allowing Godsend to run headlong into it. The two competitors regrouped, wrestling in the ring some more before taking the action to the outside. They brawled across the floor of the ruined arena and up a flight of stairs into the stands, some ten feet above the floor below. Godsend threw a haymaker at At-Las which he ducked, then used Godsend's momentum against him to send him hurtling off of the bleachers to the floor below, where he landed with a sickening thud. At-Las ran down the stairs after him to continue the assult, alternately beating and pushing Godsend until he had him up in the stands again. He took him by the back of the neck and the trunks and, much to the delight of the crowd back at the Centra Palladium, hurled him off of the stands again!

At-Las returned to the floor and continued his assault, picking up Godsend for an Atlas World Beater and sending him headfirst into the wall of the stands. Godsend laid in a heap, nearly motionless, and At-Las continued his assault by delivering a devastating MARS MANHANDLER onto the stone floor of the amphitheater. He then picked Godsend up and threw him into the wall again with yet another Atlas World Beater, and part of the wall collapsed, pinning Godsend beneath it. Godsend went for a cover, but Noxious slid out from under the ring and broke the pinfall.

For the next few minutes, Noxious tried to assault Atlas, who refused to attack his old friend in return. Finally Noxious went for a clothesline that At-Las ducked, sending Noxious hard into the ringpost and taking him out of commission. The distraction had given Godsend time to recover, though, and he took over on At-Las. Godsend went back to the crumbling wall that At-Las had thrown him through, and he put his opponent through what remained of it with THE REALM ETERNAL. Godsend then picked him up and got him back up the stairs and into the stands. He seized At-Las by his tights and flung him off of the stands, much as had been done to him earlier. He went back down the stairs to continue his assault, once again getting At-Las in position to hurl him off of the stands. The crafty veteran used what energy he had, however, to deliver an elbow to Godsend's stomach and sent his doubled-over opponent fliying off of the stands for the third time in the night.

At-Las panted as he tried to recover, then finally stood. He looked down from his height at Godsend's prone form below, seemingly measuring him, then came flying off of the wall with a Nomad Knee Drop! Godsend's body spasmed with pain as At-Las clutched his knee, obviously damaged by the fall. He got to his feet and despite an obvious limp was able to drag Godsend back into the ring. He hefted his opponent's limp body up and delivered a final MARS MANHANDLER, and collapsed on top of him as the referee counted to three. (As a result of this match, Godsend is exiled from the aCe.)

Via Holovid: Of the three wrestlers around the ring, Noxious was the first to recover, and he entered the ring to assault At-Las. After several minutes, Godsend staggered to his feet and started to direct traffic, telling Noxious to slam At-Las in the middle of the ring. The two then ascended the turnbuckle and each delivered a flying headbutt to At-Las' already bleeding face. They started to climb the turnbuckles a second time when a ROC security team stormed out of their side of the venue for the save. Godsend and Noxious took off as they entered but the damage was already done, and the holovid faded out on the image of a bloody, motionless Lance At-Las lying in the middle of the ring. (Lance At-Las was injured for five cards).
